Wow, it has been five whole months already!
This month has definitely flew by for me. I can’t believe that five months ago I kept saying that I can’t wait to see where I’ll be in 6 months and now I’m one month away from being there! This journey has given me a new love for exercising and making consistent healthier choices than bad choices. Like every month, I am seeing changes more than ever before. It’s nice to wake up every morning, look at my body, and actually smile and be proud of all the progress I’ve made.
One proud moment I celebrated this month is that I have a pair of work pants that I have tried on every few months to track my progress and I am so happy to say that I am now able to button them up with no problem! I can’t wait until March because by then those work pants will fit perfectly.
Although this month was okay, I still struggle at times on my journey. Some days I feel good and some days I feel like blah 😦 I did slack a lot with eating and exercising some weeks (Christmas and New Year )and I didn’t go as hard as I could. Now that I’ve made it this far I wanted to give myself a small weightloss goal along with my fitness goals to push myself harder since I am becoming a little complacent. I lost another 3lbs and I plan on losing 17 more by the end of April. I think this will be good for me because goals push you to go harder. I don’t like to give myself weight goals because I feel like its too much pressure, but I think a little pressure will be good for me when I feel like being lazy.
Overall, this month flew by for me and I could have done better but I’m not going to hang my head low. I’m going to hold my head up and keep on keeping on because I’VE GOT GOALS!

Month five progress pictures: (Sorry there aren’t a lot, Month 5 snuck up on me)

My Shape is coming back!
- I don’t know if yall can see the difference, but the first time I put these dress pants on in October I couldn’t even button them up or really pull them up for that matter😩. The middle picture was a month later in November and I was able to button them, but it was still a bit of a challenge. The third picture is TODAY! I was able to pull them all the way up and button them with a breeze! 😄They still fit a little tight in the inner thigh region but I am absolutely positive that in March I’ll be in them comfortably with no problem! Yes! I am too excited!
Congratulations! I had a pair of dress pants that I haven’t worn since 2011. I tried them on this year after losing 10lbs, still didn’t fit. Tried them on in September (6 months later) and they can’t stay up! Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much! The blah days are so annoying, but it’s a reality that I face on this journey. I love your analogy by the way, true statement. 😊
